This skunk's skull is obligingly standing in for a bat: It's close to the size of a bat with its wings furled, and, because it's light, it shows up better in the net. |

The ChiropteRogues NB: For our safety (both mine and my chiroptera friends'), I never handle bats. I use a bird net (which I got at a bird show) to catch them. Then I bring them outside for release. |
